Our plant has been doing well but some plants are dying. We added 2 cups of nutrients today. This is the 42nd day of growing. It says the water is OK. The lettuce is not growing anymore. This is our blog about garden giants TUNE IN NEXT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

We harvested a little bit of lettuce and we each got to try a bite.  Delicious!

Wow these garden greens are growing like crazy.There already at 5'' and it looks like a jungle.

It is the 21st day of growing . 7 more days till more nutrients needs to be added.It also seems like the water cycle is OK.Join us next time for more jungle fun  

Weekend Growth

Over Veteran's Day weekend, we saw a boost in growth and water supply.  When I came in on Monday, I had to add water for the first time since we planted.

So far we took 2 domes off and they have been planted 9 days ago. All of the  plants are starting to grow but the domes are not off quite yet. Stay tune fore more of this fun.

Seedlings!

I came in this morning from the weekend and we have multiple seedlings.  This is very exciting.  I took a grow dome off (and then replaced it) of one of them so the progress can be seen clearly.

A Tiny Sprout 10/27/2016

We have a tiny sprout today in one of the pods.

First Day 10/25/2016

Today we learned the steps on how to set up our "AeroGarden" in our classroom. This system does not use soil only water and nutrients! First we plugged it in and set it up. The light came on. Second, we measured 10 cups of distilled water and poured it into the water bowl/bucket. Next, we inserted 6 salad green pods along with a grow dome on top. Then we poured in 2 capfuls (or 8 Ml) of nutrients. Finally, we were done and we watch it grow. Stay tuned!
